Our programme proposal:
ca. 10 a.m.
Visit to the pilgrimage church Vierzehnheiligen (a tour takes about 45 minutes) before arrival at our hotel or: city tour through Lichtenfels, the German “Basket City” (duration: ca. 1 hour)
ca. 1.30 p.m.
Lunch at our Ristorante Rossini in Lichtenfels, which offers a delicious selection of Franconian and Italian dishes. Our outdoor area will delight you in summer.
ca. 3 p.m.
Fun rafting tour on the river Main* with live music on our own raft (duration: ca. 2.5 h), upon request e.g. with coffee and cake

e.g. hearty Franconian snack and tasting of three different beers (prices upon request) with brewery monk Diderus in our Franconian country-style pub “Zum Bräuwirt” in Lichtenfels. If desired, “rafter buffet” (information and prices upon request) and of course dinner à la carte is possible as well. (Extensive dinner menu with Franconian and Bavarian delicacies)

Raft weekend
Fun raft weekend 2017
Friday (arrival): E.g. visit to Bamberg with *city tour or stroll through the beautiful old town, or visit to the pilgrimage church “Vierzehnheiligen” before checking in at Hotel Krone*** in Lichtenfels in the late afternoon.
In the evening, we will be waiting to welcome you at our country-style pub “Zum Bräuwirt” with a Franconian 3-course menu and a friendly get-together. If desired, with *beer tasting accompanied by brewery monk Diderus (*further options and prices available upon request) Saturday: Extensive, hearty breakfast buffet At 12.30 p.m., cosy lunch “Franconian one-course meal” in our pub “Zum Bräuwirt”. (EUR 10 extra) And it’s getting even cosier! At about 3 p.m., “fun rafting tour on the river Main” on our own raft with live music, incl. one Keller beer (0.5 l) or one non-alcoholic drink (0,5 l) per person! (duration: ca. 2.5 h) We’ll make sure to have enough beer, soft drinks, and many other things on board! We are well-known for our funny raftsmen and hostess! |
Afterwards we’ll head back to Hotel Krone, where you can freshen up before spending a “hearty rafter evening” with live music and a buffet full of Franconian delicacies at our pub “Zum Bräuwirt” at about 7 p.m. (buffet of cold and warm Franconian specialities) The biggest hits of recent years will entertain you throughout the evening. Surcharge for solo entertainer EUR 5.00 per person.
